To what Extend should Goverment Legialate Morality essays The legislation of morality has become a big dilemma. Where does the government pass the fine line between the legislation on conformity ideals of human conduct to taking away our rights as human beings? Many say that the government has passed those fine lines years ago. The idea of men being allowed to take off their shirts on hot sunny days or at the beach and women not has really being turning some heads around. Why is it that in other states women is allowed to walk around in beaches without a top on and not in the United States? It is a known fact that in areas where women are allowed to expose themselves freely, rape and other sexually involved crimes have been known to be at an all time low compared to the United States. The Fact that kids are exposed to these areas that arent seen as much in the other countries at a young age, allows them to get rid of the sensation of wanting to see these areas thus preventing harm to women and young teens from any sexual assault. No one can really say to what extend the government should legislate morality. Many people have different ideas on what is right for their country and for their own children. In my opinion I believe that the government should lighten up a little. They should try Europes way of legislating morality for a couple of years and see whether it improves our society and reduces rape in our country. ...
